Fortify opens with angelic synthesizers breathing to a half time kick and snare, the track quickly shifts gears to an up-beat sequence that lures you into the soul of Eyelid Kid. As you are pulled back in forth between confessional choruses and contagious dance rhythms you catch a glimpse of Eyelid Kid's fortified visions. Imagine a girl drenched in reminiscent love dancing her way through a college afterparty. She is confident and sways freely as she steps over the limbs of drunken bodies. Your not sure what these visions mean but you know that she holds an understanding we are all searching for.
